Research Interests: I am developing advanced imaging methods and high throughput analysis techniques for the study of neural circuits regulating complex behaviors. This includes:
- Methods for high speed imaging acquisition and isolating behaviorally relevant activity from individual dendrites and neurons in awake behaving animals.
- Multi-modal imaging analysis, bringing together multiple types of imaging data such as simultaneous live imaging of multiple sensors or live and fixed imaging of the same structures.
- Super-resolution live imaging techniques to probe neural function at the synaptic scale.
