Education: Nick received a bachelors degree in Photonic Science and Engineering through the University of Central Florida, and later his masters degree in computer science with an image processing specialization through the Erasmus COSI Program. 

Research Interests: Nick's specific interests include optical design, the human visual system, and color representation. His current work at the University of Minnesota is primarily focused towards the design and maintenance of novel imaging systems for neuroscience research.
